Whole-In-One is a new application that includes all the essential computer needs, BUT is designed to be used by anyone who has not used a computer before or finds using a computer complicated.
All the essential computer needs such as email, web browser, a photo album, contact details, word processor, scanner etc are all included in one place.
Other features include a simple video chat facility to help those who find themselves lonely and isolated as well as a forum to chat to other users.
New features are being added all the time and we try to add any suggestions from users.
It is completely free to try out so if you have nothing to lose. |

This means that new computer users do not have to learn how to run different programs, although Whole-In-One does includes lessons in using a computer.
Everything today is on-line and everyone is expected to use a computer to shop, access deals or even to renew essential documents such as driving licences, TV licences, Blue Badge Parking etc.
However there is a very large amount of the population, not just in the UK, but worldwide (which is why Whole-In-One will be available in 58 different languages! - see the list below) who do not have basic computer skills or find them complex to use. There is a new term that has been applied to this population which is The Digitally Excluded

The whole purpose of Whole-in-One is to enable those people who have never used a computer before can do so, but at a level that they are comfortable with. Things like the 'Metaverse' and the 'Cloud' are phrases which are becoming common place but are for advanced users and are not in Whole-in-One. All we are interested in is to help everyone to get on the first steps of using a computer and be able to become digitally active.
So all the features are here in one place. You will not need to load up different programs to do different things and then learn how to use each one, because all the programs are here.
We have also included lessons on how to use a computer. These include both Help, Videos and Practice areas for:
